Antonelli on the other hand was not able to keep his tyres alive, and with the Softs having dropped of heavily, PREMA chose to pit the Italian driver for the Hards – although he fought valiantly from the back of the field to finish P15.
Championship leader Isack Hadjar was another Hard tyre runner that fought through the field late on, as he crossed the line in fourth for Campos Racing.

He was followed across the line by the MP Motorsport pair of Dennis Hauger and Franco Colapinto in fifth and sixth, respectively.
Hadjar’s title rival Paul Aron placed seventh for Hitech Pulse-Eight, as AIX Racing’s Taylor Barnard, another who managed the Soft tyres all the way to the end, took the last point in P8.
The drivers will now look over the data before returning tomorrow morning for the Budapest Feature Race, which is set to start at 1005 local time.
