Former Youth Olympics champion Manu Bhaker returns for her second appearance at the Summer Games. Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, Anjum Moudgil and Elavenil Valarivan too had featured at Tokyo 2020.
The other 17 Indian shooters – including Asian Games gold medallist Sift Kaur Samra – will be making their debut at the Olympics in France.
All the Olympic shooting events will be taking place at the National Shooting Center in Châteauroux.

India have won four Olympic medals so far in shooting and the last one came at the 2012 Summer Games in London.
While Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore picked up India’s first-ever Summer Games medal in shooting with a silver in 2004, Abhinav Bindra’s 10m air rifle triumph at Beijing 2008 marked the country’s first Olympic gold medal in an individual event in any sports.
The other two podium finishes came at London 2012 with Vijay Kumar bagging silver in 25m men’s pistol and Gagan Narang clinching bronze in men’s 10m air rifle.
