A new chapter commences for India’s T20I team under the guidance of their new head coach, marking the transition from the era of veterans Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja – all of whom retired from the format following their triumphant T20 World Cup victory.

The ODI squad features Riyan Parag, who made his debut in the T20I series in Zimbabwe. KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant are the wicketkeepers with Sanju Samson missing out.

Pacer Harshit Rana, who impressed in the IPL 2024 season for the title winners Kolkata Knight Riders, makes it to the ODI squad alongside Khaleel Ahmed.
